Dean L. Christenson Sr. age 66 of LaPorte, Indiana passed away on Thursday October 12, 2017.

He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 40 years Faye; loving children Bridgitte (Roy) Marganti, Lisa (Alan) Buckmaster, Dean (Amy) Christenson Jr., Tara (Randy) Slavin; his cherished 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; parents Milford and Margaret Christenson, and by his sister Dana (Dennis) Long.

Dean was preceded in death by his grandparents Warner and Freida Christenson and George and Viola Mosney.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 18, 2017 at 10:00am at WHITE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Ken Puent officiating. Burial will be private.

Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday October 17th from 2-8:00pm at WHITE FUNERAL HOME located at 921 W. 45th Ave. in Griffith, IN.

Dean was the owner of Christenson Chevrolet in Highland. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, watching NASCAR, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
