Charles W. “Chuck” Gluth Jr. age 87 of Highland passed away on Saturday April 23, 2016.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years Eva; daughters; Linda (John) Leddy and Sharon Gluth; Grandchild Stephanie (John) Smith and by his four legged companion Tuffy.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Hazel Gluth Sr.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 27^th at 10:00am at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45^th Avenue Griffith, with Pastor Shawn Cornett officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville.

Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday April 26^th from 4:00pm-8:00pm at White Funeral Home.

Chuck was the owner of Charles Gluth & Son Roofers in Gary and Hammond for 48 years. He was an Army Veteran and a former member of the Army Band, playing the saxophone. Chuck was a member of the American Legion Post 168 in Hammond.

He also loved playing the piano and enjoyed playing pinochle with friends.
