Buster L. Lahey, age 67, of Demotte, Passed away on Saturday November 18, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Melody; daughters; Denise Kirby (Mo Foster), and Amy Gerbers; grandchildren; David (Jen) Price, Krystal Ramos, William Ramos, Travis Ramos and Derek (Cara) Barnhart; five great grandchildren; sister; Roxann (James) Powell and by his niece Tabitha. He was preceded in death by his parents Orville and Delores Lahey; son David Harper and by sister, Robin. Memorial services will be held on Saturday November 25, 2017 at 4:00 pm with Deacon Michael Hallas officiating. Friends may meet with the family prior to services from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at WHITE FUNERAL HOME located at 921 W. 45th Avenue Griffith. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The Hooved Animal Society. Buster was a member of the Teamsters Union Local # 142 and a former member of the Navajo Saddle Club. He was The Horse barn manager during the Lake County Fair Western Horse Show. Buster loved his paint horses and spending time in his garage building 1970 Chevy Nova.
